Under what condition does a temporary license become invalid?

A temporary license for professional counseling typically has a set duration within which the licensee must obtain a regular license to continue practicing legally. If a person holding a temporary license does not transition to a regular license within three years, the temporary license becomes invalid. This timeframe is established to ensure that licensees are continually working toward their qualifications, skills development, and compliance with licensing regulations.

The other conditions, while they may affect practice in various situations, do not inherently result in the immediate invalidation of a temporary license.
